The good, the bad, and the ugly...
As you can see from these pictures, not everything goes as planned. In order to match the bow curve to the saddle at the top of the spar, I had to adjust the opening. That adjustment created a deviation in the bow curve in front of the spar. If you look closely at the picture below, you can see the deviation from the pattern line. It's off about 3/4".
In my opinion, it's not aerodynamically significant but it does dIffer from the plans. I'm getting together with Ray Brown to discuss the issue before proceeding.
As stated in my text, no meeting this Tuesday. The next tentative date is October 7th.
